Today we welcomed a very special guest to Scoil Bhríde, Louise Tobin, president of the IPPN (Irish Primary Principals Network) popped in for a visit. The children in the junior classes entertained her with stories and jokes while the seniors played some rousing tunes on a variety of instruments finishing with a fine rendition of Dirty Old Town, complete with harmonies. The inclusion of every child from 3rd to 6th class in our ‘mini orchestra’ and choir greatly impressed the president.
