Here in Scoil Bhríde we have been incredibly busy in our final term. Take a look at what we’ve been up to!
Football
Our Senior Girls Team made it to the county semi-finals but just lost out on the day.

U17 Roscommon Stars Visit School
We were very fortunate to enjoy a visit from two stars from the Roscommon minor team who made it to an All Ireland semi-final. Luke Shally (a past pupil) and Cian Tremble brought the Connacht Cup to school. Unfortunately, another past pupil, Marc Shally, who also plays on the team, was unable to attend on the day. The boys ‘fielded’ a variety of questions from a very eager audience and impressed us all with their answers.

Sunshine at School
We have all been enjoying the amazing facilities at Scoil Bhríde during the sunny weather.

Sports Day
Sports day was enjoyed by all as mixed teams from all classes engaged with a plethora of activities before lunch. Class races and novelty events took place in the afternoon and a well deserved ice-cream topped off the day.

Junior Enterprise Project
The children from 5th and 6th class took part in the Junior Enterprise Project this year. Have a look at the maths board game ‘Quick Questions’ they developed and sold at an open day in June. Everyone agreed it was a great success, the children are off to Bay Sports to spend their profits!

Well-Being Week
This week is ‘Wellbeing’ week at Scoil Bhríde. We have been enjoying activities from yoga to martial arts, board games to buddy reading – a lovely way to wrap up the year!!
